Davidshield online provides a Learning Management System (LMS) for tutors, schools and independent lecturers.
It is based in South Africa and is a first of its kind to provide a freelance, Moodle-based LMS for online courses and face-to-face classes with online learning management.

What kind of LMS does Davidshield Online use?
Our LMS is based on the Moodle LMS, which is open-source and in a Linux OS environment to make it easy to use with high security features.
Davidshield Online offers an independent and private LMS system, so we are not an official Moodle Partner.
How do I register for the LMS?
When you register as a user with Davidshield Online LMS, you become part of a team of independent teachers who benefit from the advantages of Moodle LMS at an affordable rate.
As an LMS user, You may also enroll for paid and free courses that will help you to become more effective in your usage of the LMS.
The BASIC Course Creator
- R120 per month, first month free
- OR R1,100 per year, first month free
- Creates own courses on the LMS
- Enrolls own students
- Uses up to 15GB for uploads (documents, voice notes, etc.)
The TEACHER Course Creator
- R250 per month, first month free
- OR R2,250 per year, first month free
- Admin creates course pages that are populated by the TEACHER role on the LMS
- Admin enrolls students
- Uses up to 30GB for uploads (documents, voice notes, etc.)

Does Davidshield Online LMS run ads on course pages?
No, our LMS does not have disrupting and data consuming ads.
Teachers pay a nominal fee to access the LMS and that covers the costs of running the server.
